With the unfortunate disbandment of KARA, DSP Media is shifting focus to their other female group and has announced that Rainbow will hit the stage next month with a new album and single for fans.

With speculations released on Jan. 16 from a music industry insider regarding Rainbow's comeback, the group has since confirmed their official return date for Feb. 15.

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, an insider revealed that Rainbow is currently busy and wrapping up the finishing touches for their fourth album.

Each of the Rainbow members chose the concept and single together. Also, a track written by member Hyunyoung will be included in the EP.

As each individual member's contract is set to expire later this year, the group is expected to actively promote their comeback album.

Rainbow's previous activity was last February with the release of their third EP INNOCENT, and title track "Black Swan."
