Hoya will soon say "Hiya" to moviegoers.

INFINITE's Hoya (Lee Ho Won) is slated to make his big screen debut this spring.

On Thursday, Jan. 28, Hoya's agency, Woollim Entertainment, revealed details of the idol actor's first movie role.

Hoya will play the role of Jin Ho in the upcoming film about complicated brotherly love called Hiya. The movie also stars Ahn Bo Hyun and is about two brothers whose relationship gets mixed up due to their different personalities.

Although it will be his first time on the big screen, Hoya is no stranger to acting. The popular K-pop star's first acting gig was in the tvN series Reply 1997, a coming-of-age drama about a group of high school friends. Hoya portrayed Kang Joon Hee, who harbored a secret crush on an unexpected character. The show's popularity spawned two follow-up seasons, Reply 1994 and Reply 1988.

In other news Hoya and the other members of INFINITE recently wrapped up the North American leg of their world tour in New York City on Jan. 19.

Hiya is going to be released in theaters during the month of March.
