BABYMONSTER is back — and they came in stronger than ever. The YG Entertainment girl group released their third mini album CHOOM on May 4, 2026, breaking their own first-day sales record in the process.

According to the Hanteo Chart, CHOOM sold 387,871 copies on its first day of sales and reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums charts in 15 regions. The title track, whose name means "dance" in Korean, is a high-energy synth-driven performance anthem that puts BABYMONSTER's choreography front and center.

The release marks the group's first comeback of 2026 and arrives without member Rami, who remains on a health-related hiatus. Despite her absence, the remaining members delivered a full-force performance that fans and critics alike have praised for its explosive energy and visual impact.

To support the album, BABYMONSTER will embark on the CHOOM World Tour in 2026–27, beginning with three shows in Seoul from June 26–28, continuing across Japan and further dates in Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America.
