Illionaire Records The Quiett and Dok2 are the first producer-judges to be announced for this year's Show Me The Money 5.

On February 22 Mnet revealed the two as the first group of judges, as well as announcing Team Illionaire as the first producing team. According to Star News the two were picked for their unique hip hop style, their excellent capabilities in producing, and their well-known name among hip hop loving fans.

After the announcement, The Quiett revealed Team Illionaire's slight apprehension. "Although we're already nervous, we'll make sure to do our best," he commented. Additionally, when asked about what they look for in a rapper they said their criterion is simple. "We choose rappers who know what they're doing and do their own thing."

Two years ago Team Illionaire won Show Me The Money 3 as the producer-judges behind iKON's Bobby. "We are confident we will do well in this season since we won season three," The Quiett stated confidently.

At this time no other producer-judges have been announced.

Show Me The Money 5 is currently still recruiting contestants for its upcoming season. For the first time since Mnet's rap competition program started Show Me The Money is looking for contestants both in the United States as well as in Korea. Applications will be accepted until March 6.
