‘NCIS’ Season 13 Spoilers: Replacement For Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo Already Named?

After "24" star Sarah Clarke has been named as one of the new cast members to fill in the team as Michael Weatherly exits the show, another one has been named in the person of British actor Duane Henry.

According to Design & Trend, Duane Henry will be playing the role of MI-6 Officer Clayton Reeves described as "offbeat and fun with swagger to spare." Duane Henry will be appearing in the final two episodes of "NCIS" Season 13 as a guest actor and depending on the reception to his character, the actor will have an opportunity to become a series regular in Season 14.

As to the background of Clayton Reeves, the report said that Duane Henry's character, Clayton Reeves, is a former intelligence officer who "has burned bridges in the international intelligence community."

In a statement, "NCIS" showrunner and executive producer Gary Glasberg said, "We think we found something really special in Duane Henry. His unique blend of charm, heart and athletic physicality is going to be a great addition to the mix."

Previous appearances for Duayne Henry include "Law & Order: UK," "Doctors," "The Cut" and "Doctor Who."

Meanwhile, "NCIS" Season 13, Episode 21 titled "Return to Sender" will involve light moments for Tony DiNozzo who will be reunited with his former colleague, Timothy McGee played by Sean Curray. The activity, accordingly, will involve both DiNozzo and McGee as they hunt for the latter's new apartment. The episode, according to Parent Herald, is a tribute to DiNozzo and McGee's friendship.

Here is the official synopsis for "Return to Sender" (via Carter Matt): "Gibbs and Senior FBI Agent T.C. Fornell (Joe Spano) unite after two British prisoners, including a former spy, escape and arrive stateside via a shipping container. Also, McGee is busy apartment hunting and determined to find out how DiNozzo purchased his lavish place."
