During the last episode, viewers were able to witness how Vegeta struggled to land damage with Universe 6's remaining opponent Hit. The latter was able to put damage to Vegeta, given that the Saiayan Prince was already in his Super Saiayan Blue form.

According to Design N Trend, the beginning of episode 39 will cap off the battle between Hit and Vegeta, which it summarized in the statement:

"Vegeta squares off against Hit using his super saiyan blue form, but Hit uses his 'Time-Skip' technique to repeatedly attack Vegeta where it hurts, knocking him out cold. Trying to figure out the trick behind Hit's 'Time-skip,' Son Goku likewise challenges him in his super saiyan blue form."

Basing at the newly released trailer for episode 39, it can be seen that Goku steps up to defeat Hit in the battle, beating his opponent several times. When Hit was still attacking Vegeta, Goku who was taken by surprise with the abilities of Universe 6's assassin, carefully took time to study the "Time Skipping" technique Hit was using to incur damage to the Saiayan Prince. He was able to find a counter to this technique, thus giving him the chance to attack Hit several times.

Design N Trend furthermore added that Goku will be using his Kaioken once again which will completely turn the table and make things favorable for Goku during the battle.

In addition to this revelation, Goku is said to have defeated Hit in the upcoming episode 40 of "Dragon Ball Super" since Champa was describe to having been upset with the defeat of their last card for the tournament.
