Recently, rumors have been spreading online of I.O.I member Kim Sejeong holding a solo debut once the group finishes their promotions for "Dream Girls." 

First reports stated that the Jellyfish Entertainment trainee would make her solo debut in the first week of July.

However,  the agency has come out and emphatically deny the rumors, stating, "the reports claiming that Kim Sejeong will have a solo debut are completely groundless." 

"We will make sure that Sejeong continues promoting with I.O.I until the very end," the agency added.
I.O.I ended promotions for their debut single "Dream Girls" at the Dream Concert on Jun. 4. freeing members to pursue solo and unit activities with their respective agencies. 

Kim Sejeong was consistently one of the top favorites on "Produce 101," even reaching the No. 2 spot in the final episode of the show.

Although these recent rumors have turned out to be false, hopefully the young singer will be able to have a solo debut in the future!
