Latest news rumors claim that Prince William and Prince Charles may not be getting along very well. The reason? Kate Middleton, apparently.

According to reports, being exposed to Kate Middleton's parents Carole and Michael may have purportedly made Prince William realize how much he missed when he was growing up.

Express reported that Prince William purportedly chooses to work only 80 hours a month so that he could be a good parent to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Is it because he wants to be a better father than Prince Charles?

"William does not want to be an absent father because he knew what it was like growing up with one," a source reportedly said. "Prince Charles is and always has been a workaholic. He wasn't always there for William and Harry and nor was Princess Diana."

"People forget the princes were brought up on the nursery floor - they didn't even eat with their parents," the insider added, as quoted in Express' news report.

These reports led royal watchers to speculate that Kate Middleton's middleclass upbringing could be putting a wedge between Prince William and Prince Charles. In fact, there are speculations that the two may not be very keen on keeping an open line of communication between them.

"In an interview included in the Ant and Dec documentary marking the fortieth anniversary of the Prince's Trust, the second-in-line to the throne revealed that 'dad doesn't do modern technology,'" Celeb Dirty Laundry wrote in a news report.

"This led many to believe that father and son don't communicate often, perhaps that phone calls and texts may be non-existent," the article added.

"The Duke of Cambridge revealed even more about the cold and distant relationship with the Prince of Wales in the interview," the report continued. "When asked to describe his father, Prince William replied, 'He's got an insurmountable amount of duty in him, he's incredibly driven to do his duty and from a very young age that's been instilled into him."

The Buckingham Palace is yet to address news rumors that Kate Middleton is purportedly causing friction between Prince William and his father.
