On July 24th, Cube Entertainment disclosed that, "Jang Hyunseung will be participating in Mnet's 'Hit The Stage' filming."

In regards to having continued appearances on the show, the agency said, "There is a possibility for a second appearance on the show. But in the meantime, it will only be a single appearance and we're not thinking about a second recording."

On the topic about when Hyunseung's solo album will be released, Cube commented, "Nothing has been decided yet."

"Hit The Stage" is a new program where celebrities and professional dancers will battle it out in an intense dancing competition. Each team will prepare a performance based on a specified theme and this will change every episode. The teams will also rotate every week. So far, eight celebrities participants have been confirmed and they are: Block B's U-Kwon, Girls' Generation'sHyoyeon, INFINITE's Hoya, MONSTA X's Shownu, NCT U's Ten, SHINee's Taemin, SISTAR's Bora, and TWICE's Momo. The Korean celebrities that have been confirmed to join the second episode of the show are Jang Hyunseung, I.O.I's Kim Chungha, BIGSTAR's Feeldog, and Stephanie.

"Hit The Stage" is scheduled to air its pilot episode on July 27th 2016 at 11 p.m.
