The long awaited sub-unit is finally happening. EXO will have their first sub-unit. Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin will be the first members that will form the first ever sub-unit of EXO.

Soompi reported that the unit group will be filming a music video this week. It was also reported that they will be filming for the music video of their title track. Though it was not said what the title of their track is, it is very much confirmed. It was also announced that they will release a mini album with five songs including the title track.

Allkpop said that this sub unit was already speculated by the fans long time ago.  The three members did a music video together for their EXO'rdium concert. "Reservoir Idols" was the name of the special video they did during their concert. Fans are now speculating that it might be the name of the sub unit too.

SBS stated that SM Entertainment confirmed that there will be an EXO sub unit. Though they did not specify the name of the group, they have confirmed that it will be Chen, Xiumin and Baekhyun in the group. They also did not state the date of the debut of the unit group.

However there were reports that they may debut at the end of this month. The three also did an OST for a Korean drama "Scarlet Heart: Ryeo", in which Baekhyun is part of. Fans are really happy that this three are part of the sub unit. Most of them think that the three deserve it.

Fans are now very excited because of this. Most of them took to twitter their excitement and tweeted a lot about this. Most of them are happy that there will be a sub unit. Some of them are not because it was announced that the sub unit might only perform for two weeks.
