The idol-turned actress Bae Suzy of Miss A is reportedly releasing a solo album at the end of this year. JYP Entertainment has confirmed that Suzy is indeed going solo after her latest drama with actor Kim Woo Bin, "Uncontrollably Fond."

Reports have claimed that Suzy has finished filming her music video for the title track of her upcoming solo album. Rumors that are circulating also said that Suzy is trying different genres of music for her solo album. It was also said that Suzy has finished recording some of her songs for the b-side tracks.

Moreover, it was said that Suzy might released another self-composed track for her solo album. Since penning a self-composed song for the OST of "Uncontrollable Fond", Suzy said she wants to try writing more music. Furthermore, Suzy had a solo fan meet with her fans.

Meanwhile, it has been rumoured since the start of the year that Suzy will be going solo. However, JYP Entertainment has debunked those rumors. Yet, they have announced that Suzy is indeed going solo later this month or early January next year.

Miss A fans are happy yet sad about the news. It was earlier this year that a Miss A member, Jia, has departed the group; she released a solo Chinese song after doing so. It was also this year that another Chinese member, Fei, released a solo song.

Say As are sad because Miss A might disband soon since the members are always doing solo projects. Also, Suzy is obviously more famous than the other members so that affected the group so much. However, JYP is very adamant that Miss A will not disband.

Miss A's last release was in 2015 - their previous release before that was in 2013. With that, it is obvious that the members' schedule does not allow them to do a group comeback as often as other girl groups.

They might not come back next year or the year after that, or, ever. Only the members and JYPE can tell.
