Actress Kang So-Ra and actor Hyun-Bin is confirmed to be dating, as their agencies have released statement to confirm it. But there are some fans who opposed their relationship.

The respective agencies confirmed their relationship on Thursday, Dec. 15 as reported by Yonhap News Agency. Kang’s agency Plum Entertainment and Hyun’s agency VAST Entertainment & Media have releaed separate statement to confirm their relationship.

"We're very cautious to be making a personal announcement at a time like this," read the statement from Hyun’s agency VAST Entertainment & Media. The agency also requested the Hyun’s fans to support their relationship. "But we would like you to kindly look at these two people who are just starting out and send them lots of encouragement and love in their acting activities, too."

The agency need to request the fans to support their relationship because in Korean entertainment industry there are a group of fans who obsessed with their favorite celebrity. They most often stalked the celebrity and try to get any kind of memorabilia and some weird action. This fans are called sasaeng fans (사생팬), which literally mean “stalking fans.”

This type of fans usually hate their favorite celebrities’ partner of lover. Therefore, asking the fans to support the relationship is what the celebrities of their agencies usually do.

Kang and Hyun met for the first time in October according to report from Chosun Ilbo. They often met for work related conversation and fell in love. They started dating two weeks ago.

The 36-year old Hyun started his career in 2003 and made a breakthrough in 2005 MBC TV drama "My Name is Kim Sam-soon," followed by “Secret Garden” in 2010. His next project is the movie "Cooperation" playing a North Korean detective who join police investigation with South Korean police force.

While the 26-year old Kang rose to stardom in 2014 tvN drama “Misaeng” which she made a memorable performance as a tough female employee in the male-dominated trading company.
