BTS' MV Achieves New YouTube Record!

2016 is almost at an end and everyone can definitely agree that the year has been so kind to the boys of BTS. For BTS, 2016 has been one hell of a ride as this is the year where they truly broke out of their shells and became the k-pop icons that they are. But if you think BTS is already through with slaying the game, well, you should know that the boy group had just recently achieved a new milestone on YouTube, a fitting Christmas present to the boys of BTS.

According to Allkpop, one of BTS's music videos had just reached over 100 million views on YouTube! "Fire," which was first released in May of last year, had gathered about 90 million hits on the 1theK channel while the music video on the ibighit channel racked up about 11 million views for a total of 101 million hits on YouTube. The music videos had a whole 8 months to reach that golden number.

With fire finally achieving 100 million views, it becomes BTS's second music video to achieve such a feat after "Dope."

Apart from this latest achievement, BTS was also honored by Dazed Magazine in their "Best Music Videos of 2016" list. It is definitely not surprising that BTS would be included on the list as their latest album, "WINGS," had just broken the U.S. record of "The Highest Charting and Best Selling K-Pop Album" when it ranked impressively high on the Billboard 200 chart at 26. Dazed Magazine chose "Blood, Sweat and Tears," as one of the best music videos of 2016 and is the only k-pop video included on their list which featured mega artists like Beyonce and Kanye West, Koreaboo reports.

Furthermore, "WINGS" had also been chosen by the expert critics of Billboard as the top k-pop album of 2016. You can watch BTS's music videos below.
