Two of the hottest Korean actors of 2016 are back as the newest faces of Line Pay.

The “Descendants of the Sun” actor Song Joong Ki and “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” lead Park Bo Gum are two of the most in demand endorsers nowadays, so it’s not surprising that Line Pay also tapped them.

Yibada wrote that this commercial for Line Pay will highlight the manliness within the two actors. Although some netizens wished to see them having some bromance which is a trend nowadays, this new CF will emphasize the identities of the actors and how they can sell the Line Pay service. Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum are close friends in real life alongside actors Yoo Ah In and Lee Kwang Soo and they are usually spotted hanging out together but for this CF, producers avoided the bromance angle as the two actors were recently intrigued by gender preference issues where Park Bo Gum was recently involved in an issue with his male manager.

Before the two actors were even tapped for this Line Pay CF, All Kpop reported that Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum previously worked for a CF for Domino Pizza on November this year. The two showcased their manly friendship while indulging themselves with Domino Pizza’s newest menu that time which is the “braised pork pizza”. Check the CF below.

Indeed, 2016 is the year for the two actors. Song Joong Ki dominated the first half of the year as he starred in the worldwide hit “Descendants of the Sun”. He just recently wrapped up his filming for his 2017 film “Battleship Island” alongside top actor So Ji Sub.

Park Bo Gum also had an amazing 2016 as he lead the hit historical drama “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”. His prowess in being an MC made him a household name in Korea garnering him several endorsements.

Apart from this Line Pay CF, Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum are reported to reunite before the year ends as both are nominated in the upcoming 2016 KBS Drama Awards.
