Seo In Guk, Choi Kang Hee Respond To Rumors They Are Gay On South Korean Talk Show 'Incarnation' [VIDEO]

South Korean entertainers Seo In Guk and Choi Kang Hee responded to rumors they are gay on the Seoul Broadcasting System talk show "Incarnation" on Tuesday.

Singer and actor Seo In Guk explained why the word gay appears with his name on most Korean search engines on the program.

"I've heard the gay rumors," said the 25-year-old star. "Even in related searches, as the related term, 'Seo In Guk gay' will pop up," Seo In Guk said.

The K-pop star told hosts Shin Dong Yup, Kim Hee Seon and Yoon Jong Shin that the Internet branding of his sexual orientation merely had to do with the roles he had played as an actor.

"This is because on the cable drama 'Reply 1997′, idol group INFINITE's Hoya's character had a crush on me," Seo In Guk explained.

"Also in K.Will's music video, I played the role of a guy having a one-sided crush on another guy, Ahn Jae Hyun. Afterwards, gay rumors kept surfacing and so the related search terms came up."

When actress and radio personality Choi Kang Hee was brought out, her rumored lesbianism was the first thing host Shin Dong Yup brought up.

"Out of all the rumors about Choi Kang Hee, there are rumors that she is a lesbian," the host said. "There's even a rumor that she is dating [female comedian] Song Eun Yi."

Choi Kang Hee responded that she too had experienced problems with the South Korean Internet search engines labeling her sexuality.

"[The word lesbian] keeps coming up on the related search terms on portal sites so I keep erasing it," she said.

"The rumors never reach me but it keeps showing up on the related search terms...I was even in the top five for a lesbian popularity poll."

Guest Bong Tae Gyu couldn't believe the star was being so candid.

"Are you allowed to talk like this?" he asked.

But Choi Kang Hee wasn't done dropping truth bombs, opening up about her co-star on the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation show "Seventh Grade Civil Servant, Joo Woon, who apparently got so close to the actress he started calling her nuna.

Nuna is a word in Korean meaning "older sister" that is also used as slang for an older woman that a male is close to.

Although she admitted being attracted to Joo Woon, she said she didn't consider dating him.

"No," Choi Kang Hee said. "I don't [date] celebrities. I don't see male celebrities as men."
