Fans of EXO's Chanyeol are looking forward to the flourishing acting career of the 24-year old performer. Currently, Chanyeol is part of the Kdrama, "Missing 9," and the producers as well as the rest of the cast of the said Kdrama are very supportive of the EXO member's role.

"Missing 9" is a Kdrama about nine survivors of a plane crash that end up on a deserted island, hence, the working title. "Missing 9" is filled with veteran actors and actresses and EXO's Chanyeol is lucky enough to have acting scenes with them.

All Kpop reports that Chanyeol is seriously taking in the advices from the cast and crew of "Missing 9." "Speaking just one line is enough to show a huge difference. I started rethinking how I should project my voice," he said

According to All Kpop, Chanyeol plays the role of Lee Yeol, a singer who used to be part of the same group with Jung Kyung Ho. Lee Yeol eventually became a solo artist and remains to be a good friend to Jung Kyung Ho. Choi Tae Joon will also be playing the role of a member from Jung Kyung Ho's group.

According to the producer of "Missing 9," Chanyeol is receiving help, guidance and advice from the veteran actors which are very crucial for his acting skills. Although Chanyeol will be acting in some humorous scenes in "Misisng 9," he is also expected to be present in emotional scenes as well as those that require confrontation and heavy drama.

According to Soompi, the producer of "Missing 9" has encouraged the viewers to support and look forward to EXO's Chanyeol growth as an actor. "Chanyeol didn't have many parts in the beginning of the drama, so he couldn't show off his acting ability. However, you will definitely be able to see his acting skills as the episodes go on," producer Jang Hyun Jin said.
