Considered as one of the most popular and bankable Korean celebrities, Rain and Kim Tae Hee still opted to have an intimate wedding ceremony.

However, the fans are still wondering how much an intimate wedding of two of the biggest Korean celebrities could have cost? According to Koreaboo, Rain and Kim Tae Hee have been named as the richest Korean celebrity couple to date. With this in mind, the fans are expecting a grand, lavish wedding ceremony.

On the Jan. 24 episode of SBS' "A Night Of Entertainment," the cost of Rain and Kim Tae Hee's wedding was revealed. As mentioned earlier, the public as expecting a big, lavish and expensive wedding from Korea's richest celebrity couple.

However, all the said speculations were put out as Rain and Kim Tae Hee took the road less travelled and opted to have a simple wedding celebration. Koreaboo reports that the whole wedding ceremony of Rain and Kim Tae Hee only cost 1.3 million won, or approximately $1,116.

According to Drama Fever, most of the said expenses went to venue rentals and usher payments. The fans of Rain and Kim Tae Hee were shocked and at the same time impressed with the simplicity and frugality of the newly-wed couple.

After their wedding, Rain and Kim Tae Hee went to Bali for their honeymoon. Their fans are expecting and hoping for a new baby so that they will soon be one happy family.
