After the success of his Kdrama comeback "Legend of the Blue Sea," Lee Minho is making his comeback to the music scene in a big way as he prepares to launch his new solo album "Always by Lee Minho" next month. The album is expected to commemorate his 10th year in the entertainment industry.

According to a report by Kpopmap, Lee Minho will announce his album in time with his large scale fan meeting called "The Originality of Lee Minho" which is scheduled on February 18-19. The event will take place at KyungHee University to the great excitement of his loyal supporters.

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" actor will make his music comeback after two years. His last album "The Day" only contained two songs - "Present" and "Like Then." The album was released in time with his birthday in 2015 and was intended as his gift for his loyal fans.

A report from Soompi cited that Lee Minho's two other special albums - "My Everything" and "Song For You" also performed well outside of Korea. "My Everything" topped Japan's Oricon Daily Album chart while his single "Song for You" was also among the top tunes on Taiwan's iTunes chart.

In a recent survey conducted among American Kdrama viewers by Korea Creative Content Agency, Lee Minho topped the list of most popular Korean actor. He was followed by fellow Korean idols Scarlet Heart Ryeo's Lee Joon Ki, W:Two World's Lee Jong Suk, Descendants of the Sun's Song Joong Ki and The K2's Ji Chang Wook, reported Drama Fever.

Despite several years of staying away from the limelight, it would seem that Lee Minho's performances in "Boys Over Flowers", "City Hunter", 'Faith" and "The Heirs" fueled his fans' excitement in seeing him in a Kdrama again. His performance in the fantasy love story between a mermaid and a con man propelled his latest drama to the top of the ratings game.
