Twice's 'Knock Knock' MV Poised To Smash YouTube Records; Hits 12 Million Views In Less Than 48 Hours

Twice has just dropped the MV for their latest single "Knock Knock" and is well on its way to reaching 13 million views since it was published by JYP Entertainment last February 19. The girls are also getting positive reviews from music sites who are crediting them for their talent and charm.

Twice released "Knock Knock" over the weekend as part of its comeback. According to Billboard, the single is one of the two additional tracks to their newly released EP, Twicecoaster: Lane 2, which is a reissue of last year's highly successful "Twicecoaster: Lane 1." the new EP will include all of the seven tracks of the original album and include "Knock Knock" and another upcoming single "Ice Cream."

Less than 48 hours after its upload, fans are already crediting the MV for its fun and youthful vibe. With the slumber party theme and the upbeat sound, Twice's Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu managed to inject as much of their personalities to the song that revolves around a girl crushing on a guy and wanting him to woo her. Because the video was intended as a continuation of the megahit "TT" the video ends ambiguously with the girls disappearing from the doorway and the cameras focus on the two children from the earlier video, leading viewers to conclude that the story will pick up in the next single.

Early reviews have given a thumbs up to the new single, and even likened its feel to a Christmas song. Perhaps it may be the snow and the costume element of the video that prompted the comparison from Open The Kpop but it was still a win for the girls.

"Twice songs keep getting better. The previous one is always my favorite until they release the next," youtube user Amanda Moreira said in the comments section, a sentiment echoed by most of the viewers. So far, the video has also garnered 529,441 likes on the streaming medium.
