Allkpop reported that Shim So Young discussed about how her appearance on "Infinity Challenge" affected her popularity in an interview on the Feb. 22 episode of "Radio Star." Shim So Young revealed that so many celebrities tried to get with her after her appearance on "Infinity Challenge's 'Wedding Singers" special. She also stated that an idol reached out to her on SNS.

Shim So Young revealed on Radio Star that he said to her that he is a person who sings and he spotted her on "Infinity Challenge." She stated that she investigated into his account and it was really him. However, Shim So Young continued that her messages with the popular male idol always disappeared every time she replied to his messages. She revealed that it turns out that this person always deleted their conversation in order not to leave any proof, Scoopnest reported.

Shim So Young concluded sting that it never worked out well with the celebrities, though. "Infinity Challenge" is a South Korean television entertainment series, which is being distributed by MBC. It is reported that as of Jan. 2013, the show had the largest market share for its timeslot as up to 17 percent of all Korean television viewers watch the show every Saturday night.

This has made "Infinity Challenge" the most watched free-to-air television program on Saturday evenings and the most watched non-drama TV series in South Korea. But this rating of the show does not include special sporting events, since Nov. 2006 and also does not include Jan. 2009 along with April and May 2010.

It is also reported that the TV show has kept the same scheduled time since it first aired in 2005. It also lasts for roughly 75 minutes since 2009. This does not include the ten minutes of advertising and the episodes of the show are also frequently rerun on various Korean cable broadcasting channels.
"Infinity Challenge" has been termed "Korea's real first variety" and "the nation's variety show" for been successful for more than ten years.
