It is the greatest issue in South Korea for the result of the impeachment trial of President Park Geun Hye. SBS will be the one to broadcast it and cancel the variety shows. Even though MBC and KBS will not have special airing for trial, they also cancel some variety shows.

The President of South Korea is in a scandal of corruption. Even though there were many protests, the President seemed to have no willingness to step back from his position. Previously, many people came down to street together to ask Park Geun Hye to step back. Thus, the parliament voted on Dec.9 to have impeachment trial for her. The trial is scheduled on March 10.

As reported by AllKpop, SBS would have special air time for the impeachment trial and canceled the variety shows. For MBC and KBS, they would cancel some of the variety shows. MBC decided to cancel "I Love Alone" and "Duet Song Festival." As for KBS, they would cancel "Singing Batle-Victory" and "Music Bank." They also decided to have re-run for "Battle Trip" and "Mr. House Husband." They did it only for this week and the schedule will be back to normal next week.

Reported by VOANews, Park Geun Hye was in a scandal of abusing her power, doing bribery and infringement of press freedom to get to her position in politics. He was also accused to give little help/negligence to the 2014 Sewol ferry disaster that killed over 300 people. It was a big disaster for Korea and yet the government didn't do their best to handle it. It was up and down for Korea as the issue was started with guessing and no facts given.

All eyes of South Korean are to the impeachment trial of the President as she spoke nothing towards all the issues. Citizens were left mad to have the situation and it has been so long with the vote for trial and the investigation which was done after the vote. It was started with guessing and thus the facts needs to be presented. People of Korea will soon get the answer for this.
