BIG BANG leader G-Dragon may be known to the world as a global fashion icon, a trendsetter, an artist, a K-pop idol and a heartthrob. But his recent Instagram posts show a different side to this K-pop superstar. And he's proud to be a mama's boy.

Most males usually steer clear of overt signs of affection to their parents when they hit a certain age but it seems that G-Dragon is proud to show his love to his dear mother even when he's nearing his 29^th birthday. In two of his posts, he shared a childhood letter he wrote to his mom, Koreaboo reported.

It was G-Dragon's favorite poem as a child which he dedicated to his mother in a handwritten note. But that's not all, at the bottom of the note, he wrote his personal promise to his mother. "This poem is my favorite poem..As of now, if I learn more poems then I'll recite more poems for you...," he said.

In another one of his posts, he shared his note to his mother, which simply said: "Hello Mom. I am your one and only son, Kwon Ji Yong." G-Dragon's 13 million Instagram followers were really touched by the post and said that it was really sweet of G-Dragon to always remember his love for his mother because the connection between a mother and a child is one that lasts forever.

Aside from the note, G-Dragon has also been posting cute baby pics on his Instagram with one of them showing him as a toddler hiding behind the legs of his mom. A more recent post shows him having a date with his mom as she surveys his latest projects, which simply proved that no matter how old he got, he still sought his mom's opinion.

G-Dragon's latest solo concert on June 10 entitled "Mother's Womb" seems to be his ultimate love letter to his mom. The BIG BANG leader is currently working on his solo album which he plans to release in the first half of the year before he is expected to enlist for mandatory service this year, Kpopstarz reported.
