It has finally been confirmed that GFRIEND will be joining TWICE and CNBLUE in the much anticipated KCON USA that will be held in New York City.

The event organizers of the music festival are the ones who officially announced and confirmed that the girl group will be performing at the event. KCON USA will be taking place on June 23 and June 24 and will be specifically held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

GFRIEND is indeed in for some real success as this will be one of the biggest highlights in their career ever since they debuted in the K-pop music industry in 2015. Just recently, GFRIEND, which consists of Eunha, Yuju, Yerin, Sowon, SinB and Umiji, have just released their fourth mini album which is entitled, "The Awakening". And with it, its lead track single entitled, "Fingertip", instantly topped the charts.

Just last year, the girl group has also released their very first full length studio album entitled, "LOL", which has also proved itself to be another chart topper. According to Pop Crush, GFRIEND has already been nominated for the Best Korean Act award for two times already. This was for the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Their claim to fame was when they had won the New Artist of the Year award during the 2016 Golden Disc Awards. Now, KCON USA will be coming back for its third year music festival at New York City.

Meanwhile, there will also be a Los Angeles edition of KCON 2017 USA. This separate music festival will be held from August 18 to August 20. Surely, GFRIEND, TWICE and CNBLUE will rock the stage with their exhilarating and vibrantly energetic performances.

More artists who will join the Los Angeles and New York legs of the KCON USA 2017 will be unveiled in the weeks and months to come. This year's KCON USA 2017 music festival will surely be nice.
