T.O.P is currently at the hospital after he was found unconscious due to a suspected drug overdose. Multiple news outlets reported T.O.P had regained consciousness, which is eventually debunked by his own mother who said T.O.P is still in critical condition.

T.O.P's mother and family lashed out their waves of anger over reports saying the BIGBANG member is never in a critical condition due to the subjected matter. Allkpop reported T.O.P's mother is upset with a representative from the hospital who said T.O.P was just sleeping and had regained consciousness. She then asked the police but they stated their party never said to media about T.O.P's condition.

"My son is still unconscious. To read the articles that said he's in a deep sleep is hurtful. I see my son dying but I also see reports saying he's just sleeping. My son may have possible brain damage due to the lack of oxygen," said T.O.P's mother.

T.O.P's mother proceeded to reveal an even more heartbreaking detail about his condition. According to her statement, T.O.P is currently close to dying and being assisted by a breathing device.

YG Entertainment has also released a statement regarding false reports on T.O.P's condition. As per Koreaboo, the agency stated that the visitation is restricted and only family and close relatives are allowed to visit.

Previously, multiple Korean news outlets have been citing an anonymous police source who claimed that T.O.P is well-treated and had regained consciousness. Some reports even have gone further to state that T.O.P was actually never in a critical condition and he simply needs some privacy in the intensive care unit.

As of now, fans have been spending their messages and prayers for T.O.P's recovery. Hashtag #StayStrongTOP is currently the worldwide trending topic on Twitter. Fandoms of EXO, BTS, Super Junior, TVXQ, and many others have also been coming to deliver the message.

T.O.P's bandmate, G-Dragon has responded to the recent news. The BIGBANG leader on behalf of the group stated they're sorry for causing a disturbance. He also makes sure such case won't happen again in the future. G-Dragon also urged all fans to keep supporting T.O.P and BIGBANG.
