After the success of his recent appearance in "Infinite Challenge," "My Love From the Stars" actor Kim Soo Hyun will be rejoining the variety show. This time however, it will not be to compete but to receive his prize.

According to All Kpop, Kim Soo Hyun's last appearance in "Infinite Challenge" resulted in Kim So Hyun defeating the cast members in an intense bowling match showcasing the star's athletic abilities. The episode which topped viewership ratings at 10.9 percent, ended with the actor winning a prize from the show.

However, this time, Kim So Hyun's return will not have him performing a tedious activity but rather to receive his prize from the cast members. The unveiling of the prize remains as a surprise and is expected to be an entertaining watch.

Kim Soo Hyun, who is set to star in the film "Real" opposite former f(x) member Sulli, will take on the role of a troubleshooter for the underworld in the movie. He admitted that preparing for the role was a challenge in itself because it entailed a lot of physical activity.

In an earlier interview with Soompi, he shared that he had to learn boxing in order to meet the demands of the action scenes in the intense thriller film. He said that he had to mentally and physically prepare to play such a strong and dark character on screen.

"I kept thinking of the script after I had read it," Kim Soo Hyun said. "I'm nervous about taking on a new challenge but I'm also pretty excited."

"Real" will be Kim Soo Hyun's first film in three years. His last film was a spy thriller "Secretly, Greatly." After the movie, the actor is said to be considering a role in the drama "A Coffee To Go" opposite Park Shin Hye before he enlists in the military.
