PSY and IU will both hold a free concert at this year's Boryeong Mud Festival to celebrate the festival's 20th year according to organizers on Thursday. This year's festivities will be held from July 21st to the 30th.

PSY's concert will be held on July 25th at Daecheon Beach and IU's concert will be held on July 28th. PSY released his eighth full-length album in May, similarly, IU released her fourth full-length album in April, which dominated all the major streaming charts.

"The festival was a big hit last year, drawing in a crowd of 4 million, including 439,000 foreigners," said Mayor Kim Dong-il. "We plan to increase the number of attendees to 5 million by preparing richer programs." (Yonhap)
