Fans were suddenly shocked to see that Ren of NU'EST had deleted all of his posts and photos on his Instagram except for one - a screenshot of a video to the boy group's YouTube documentary (fan-made). However, something seemed suspicious as fans speculated his reasonings.

Upon further inspection, fans and netizens noticed that the dol changed his iconic screenname of 'Bornthisren' to 'glorypath.' The sudden name change baffled some fans as they mistakingly followed a fan account that immediately took up the name earlier in May of this year. While the fan-made account showcases their 1 and only video, it does like followers to NU'EST Ren's original Instagram account.

Fans were relieved to see that Ren's wonderful and fashion-forward Instagram page still existed. However, after visiting the page, fans did notice that Ren had deleted a lot of photos from his past, specifically, ones featuring his long hair, Lady GaGa performances and even gender fluid modeling photos of him wearing dresses and skirts. Despite the change, it hasn't stopped him from expressing his love for Lady GaGa and fans assume the new name is a reference to her song "The Edge of Glory."
