WINNER REALLY REALLY RETURNS TO MALAYSIA FOR 2018 EVERYWHERE TOUR IN KUALA LUMPUR

The Malaysia stop, organised by Macpiepro on 14 October 2018 was part of their "2018 EVERYWHERE TOUR" which kicked off in Seoul on 19 August 2018. Days before the concert, the organiser even arranged for free shuttle bus to transport fans from the nearest station to the concert venue.

It was the boys' second visit to Malaysia (their first visit was back in 2014 as special guest in labelmate 2NE1's All or Nothing World Tour) and Inner Cirlces (the fandom name for fans of Winner) were ready to make it eventful. We could see fans playing games at the booths and occasionally hear screams as a lucky person wins a send off pass. The fanclub booth gave out free drinks. At the entrances for the seating ticket holders, everyone was given a LED rose which the staffs would then repeat the same instructions to every single audience - to turn it on during encore.

The concert was filled with amazing performances, from "Empty" and "Don't Flirt" which were part of their debut album 2014 S/S and most tracks from their Everyday album to special solo performances by each member. Sexiness, smooth dance moves, interactions with fans, wittiness and amazing power vocal, Winner has all of those covered.

Oddly enough there were no paper slogans distributed on the concert day as this is pretty a common fan project for every Korean Pop concert. Regardless of the absence of the slogans, the LED roses distributed earlier in the evening was a successful event. Not only the roses looked pretty among the audience, Mino actually noticed that the LED lights were actually rose-shaped from the big screen while they were taking a group photo. It was an emotional moment for both the artists and the fans.

To our surprise, there was no translator at the concert. Even though most parts were obviously scripted, the four members of Winner - Yoon, Hoony, Mino and Jinu impressed the crowd with their effort to communicate with the local fans in English. Among them, the leader Yoon appears to have the best English proficiency level as he freely expressed his thoughts on eating Malaysian food during one of the ments. Being less proficient in English is no stopping the other members from swaying away from the script at times. Hoony ended up performing a short rap by repeating Aku Cinta Padamu (which means I love You in Malay) while Mino beat box along.

Winner delivered amazing performances during the two hour concert. The time gap between performances were so minimal that the next song started to play even before we caught our breaths from the previous. Indeed this visit for full fledge concert in Malaysia left a very deep impression, Winner on their local fans' endless love and support towards them and Inner Circles on the unforgettable time spent at the concert.
