Returning to the music scene on a sentimental note, Girls Generation's Yoona is releasing a special album called "A Walk to Remember" on May 30 -- coinciding with her 29th birthday.

The effort will comprise five season-themed tracks led by its carrier single, "Summer Nights." The cut, described as schmaltzy, tender, and emotional, is expected to set the nostalgic tone for the rest of the album.

In a set of teasers released by SM Entertainment, the 28-year-old singer sports a white ensemble -- complete with a fanciful beret and flowers -- to channel a charming, elegant look.

Yoona rose to fame as part of the legendary K-pop group Girls Generation. The outfit, who first debuted in 2007, is the musical act behind the hits "Gee," "Tell Me Your Wish," "I Got A Boy," "Lion Heart," "Party," and many more.

She is also part of the group's subunit called Oh!GG, alongside Sunny, Yuri, Taeyeon, and Hyoyeon. They debuted through the well-received single album "Lil' Touch," which dropped in September last year.

Her first foray into the scene as a solo artist was through the digital single, "Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway," and her special single album, "Blossom," which were both released back in 2016.

This was followed by the singles "When The Wind Blows" (2017) and "To You" (2018).

Apart from being a top-rated musical artist, she has also cemented her status as a top-caliber Hallyu actress. She has appeared in the hit action thriller K2 (2016) and in the historical drama "The King In Love."

In 2017, she debuted in the big screen through the critically-acclaimed action movie "Confidential Assignment," where she won various accolades including the Asian Film Awards' AFA Next Generation Award.

She is set to make a movie comeback this year through the disaster film, "Exit." She will star alongside A-list actor Jo Jung Suk.
The movie will follow the two main characters as they try to escape a city mysteriously enveloped by poisonous gas.
