JUNE Mentions About Producing Songs for BTS and Shares about His Trainee Days

JUNE talked about his participation in creating tracks for BTS and his time when he was still a trainee. On June 3, singer JUNE had a press conference for the launching of his first studio album called "Today's," which will be released on the same day at 6 p.m. KST.

During the conference, the solo artist shared his thoughts of participating in producing hit songs for BTS, as well as the reason why he thought that promoting as a solo artist was better for him.

JUNE is already known as a producer and writer for a number of BTS tracks including "Lost," "Awake," and "Not Today," as well as Suran's "Love Story" and "WINE." In fact, the 23-year-old singer has an unchanging friendship with BTS members, especially with Suga.

He discusses music with Suga until at present. He added that Suga contacted him to congratulate him on the release of his new album. JUNE wishes to catch up with him when BTS gets back to Korea.

The artist said that although his previous works became a hit, he does not feel anxious if his songs will do well or not. He only wants to center his mind on doing what he loves and believes that it will be fulfilling.

He added that while writing, he never thinks that it will be a hit. He just continued to do what he always does, and the songs happened to be an achievement.

JUNE went on and gave details about his time as a trainee under Big Hit Entertainment. He revealed that he used to train with TXT and is closer to them than BTS. He keeps in touch with them all the time, even now.

Other than that, JUNE also stated that he eventually made his debut in a solo singing career under a different agency.

The singer also unveiled that he was not planning on becoming an idol even when he was still training under Big Hit. JUNE said that he likes making music ever since he was still at a young age, so he has his individual preference. The artist thinks producer Bang Si Hyuk noticed that aspect, letting him become a trainee where he got to learn how to produce tracks.

JUNE's first studio album "Today's" is composed of 10 tracks, which includes the title track "Tonight," which music video is now out on YouTube, published by Planetarium Records. As of now, the video has over 6,000 views and is getting good feedback from the viewers.
