Get ready to hear new music from K-pop star Chungha this summer!

The 23-year-old artist, announced through her agency MNH Entertainment, that she will be making a June comeback, with a brand-new album set for release on the 24th.

"Kim Chung Ha will make a comeback this June 24 with a new album, 5 months after the release of 'Gotta Go'," the company revealed to media outlets.

A source from her agency has previously stated that the versatile actor has been working hard to give a summer comeback that is truly worth anticipating.

This offering follows her last drop, the immensely successful single "Gotta Go," which was unveiled in January this year. The sultry track -- which veered away from her "girl crush" image in her previous works -- has given her her first-ever music show win (via MBC's Show Champion).

"Gotta Go" has also helped solidify her status in the music scene as it fared well not only on the Gaon Music Charts but also on Billboard's World Digital Songs Chart.

Chungha first captured the hearts of K-pop fanatics when she represented MNH Entertainment in the reality show, Produce 101, clinching a fourth-place win at the end of the program. She has debuted alongside another contest alumna through the girl group I.O.I. in 2016.

In June 2017, she has officially gone solo with her debut EP, "Hands On Me," which spawned the lead track "Why Don't You Know." The hit song peaked at No. 7 on Billboard's K-pop Hot 100.

Her sophomore EP "Offset" was unveiled in January of 2018.

In celebration of her second anniversary as a soloist, Chungha said in a statement how grateful she is to have reached this stage of her career.

"It's thanks to the fans that this second anniversary was made possible, and I don't think I'll be able to forget it. I'll continue to work hard in the future so that we can make good memories together for a long, long time," she remarked, further asking her fans to show "lots of interest and love for her new offering."
