2PM's Chansung Serenades Fans Ahead of Enlistment Date

Loyal fans didn't want to miss the bittersweet concert of 2PM vocalist Hwang Chan-sung, the last two-day show the idol-actor held before he officially enlists in the military on June 11. The concert titled TMC: Too Much Transformation, transpired at Yes 24 Live Hall in Seoul on June 1, ten days before he enters the military base.

"I think I want to do something new every time I prepare for a concert or a fan meeting. I have been wondering what the funny format is, so I tried to decorate the stage like a talk concert," Chan-sung revealed.

The 2PM member also shared with his fans what he has been up to these days.

"I have the final filming for the Netflix original drama 'Alone With You' (literal title) coming up, and I finished filming the pre-produced drama 'So I Married An Anti-Fan' in January," he said.

Further, fellow member Nickhun was there to play the guitar during one of their beloved maknae's heartfelt singing performances - he sang the former's solo track "Lucky Charm."

Before concluding the event, Chan-sung read out loud his letter to his fans. He said, "It is your great pleasure to meet 2PM members, and it is my greatest happiness to meet you. Thank you very much."

He went on, "I sincerely thank you. All of you made me into a shining person. I'm going to continue to be thankful. Meeting the 2PM members is my life's biggest blessing, and meeting all of you is my biggest joy. I want to hurry up and promote as a whole group with 2PM."

The idol-actor also moved his fans through his final request, "I hope that you do not grieve, I want you to smile."
