With a total of 8,190 points, rookie group AB6IX bagged their first win with their stellar debut song "Breathe" on SBS' The Show, June 4, 2019. Competing with their senior groups CLC and Lovelyz, these astonishing boys no doubt made their very own history.

The group's debut was undeniably one of the most anticipated debuts this 2019 since this group is made up of popular members who have been exposed to the spotlight even before AB6IX'S reveal to the public eye. Lee Daehwi and Park Woojin who were both former members of Wanna One, Lim Youngmin and Kim Donghyun who promoted as MXM, and super trainee Jeon Woong who trained in both JYP and YG have finally achieved one of the best milestones a rookie group could achieve together.

AB6IX also got the title as a 6th fastest group to have their first win in any music show along with global girl group BLACKPINK in just 13 days after their debut last May 22. Even though they just debuted, they already proved they are worthy of the public's love. From creating their whole debut album by themselves to being Brand New Music's first idol group ever, AB6IX obviously is a group that many should watch out as they work their way up to sweet success.

Happiness and relief were clearly etched on the members' faces as their name was announced as the winner. With humble smiles, they warmly accepted their first physical proof of hard work, their first win trophy. They thanked their fans, ABNEWS, and CEO Rhymer and promised to show more of themselves to the audience.   

The pressure of their debut has built up to this moment as AB6IX gracefully lived up to the public's expectation of them. ABNEWS' pride was evident throughout the world as this moment trended number one in hometown South Korea and 4th worldwide.

AB6IX has always been open about their worries regarding their group's arrival as this new public figure since they all promoted separately plus a sudden appearance of a new member would definitely surprise everyone. This super rookie also surpassed 100,000 album sales in Hanteo on the same day with their debut album "B:COMPLETE."
