Multi-talented K-pop singer Chungha has returned with a brand-new single, "Snapping." The tune - an anthem for women who have recently ended their relationships - is lifted off her fourth and latest EP, "Flourishing."

Both the song and the mini-album dropped on June 24, Monday, released by MNH Entertainment and distributed by Stone Music Entertainment.

Seeing the 23-year-old artist mature in her last release, "Gotta Go," Chungha's "Snapping" is a fitting addendum that showcases her sultry, out-of-the-ordinary charms.

As embodied in the accompanying music video, Chungha exudes femme female vibes as she gracefully dances and top-bills sequences portraying a strong-willed character.

"My previous songs for summer used to be bright, refreshing and tropical. But I wanted to be different this time to show that I am constantly doing things new," the singer shared (as translated by Korea Herald) during a media showcase promoting her latest effort.

The song proved its hard-to-resist beauty as it topped various real-time charts (Genie, Bugs, Mnet, Naver, and Soribada) in just a few hours after its release.

Apart from the seductive "Snapping," other "Flourishing" cuts are anchored in this innovative principle of the K-pop star.

The titular track also marks the first time that Chungha released a co-composed original. The remaining songs in the mini-album include the Latin-pop inspired opener "Chica," the Baek Yerin-penned "Young In Love," and "Call It Love."

Besides flaunting her vocal and composing chops, Chungha also sat as a hands-on producer for her comeback offering.

"My goal for this album is that it could be something with which I could go closer to the public and communicate as I communicated with the producer and the staff [in producing the album]," she further remarked.

Debuting as a member of the now-disbanded 12-piece K-pop group I.O.I., Chungha made a successful transition into becoming a soloist in June 2017 with the EP, "Hands On Me."

With the release of a new EP led by a powerful single, fans now await the announcement if the K-pop songstress is embarking on a world tour.
