Carats all over the globe have one great reason to celebrate - K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN has recently announced they will be having a world tour, kicking off in August of this year.

Titled "Ode To You," the series of concerts will once again put the limelight on the group's acclaimed musical chops - from their vocals shining through catchy songs down to their sleek dance moves as showcased in their impressive choreographies. 

All 13 members of SEVENTEEN - S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino - will first perform for their fans in Korea through a back-to-back-to-back show at the Olympic Park, KSPO Dome on August 30 to September 1.

Ticket sales will go on sale on July 18. Fan club members will have the privilege to avail them two days earlier.

“Ode To You" will serve as their second time to bring their brand of K-pop music to audiences across the world. In 2017, they wowed Carats with their sold-out "Diamond Edge" tour back in 2017.

Though the full list of dates and schedules are yet to be announced, their fans in the Japanese have already received great news as their country will be the boys' first stop abroad.

SEVENTEEN will be flying off to the Land of The Rising Sun a month after their opening shows in Seoul. A total of 10 shows from October 8 to November 9 will bring the K-pop stars to key cities including Osaka, Aichi, Yokohama, and Makuhari. 

Earlier this month, the 13-piece ensemble earned Platinum certification for "Happy Ending," their first-ever Japanese single album unveiled on May 29. Since its release, the offering has already sold over 250,000 copies, making it qualified for the said milestone awarded by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

The effort - which includes the titular track and the Japanese versions of "Oh My!" and "Healing" - topped Oricon's daily singles chart. 

They debuted in Japan in May last year with the release of "We Male You."

SEVENTEEN, an act signed under Pledis Entertainment, was first launched into the K-pop scene in 2015. They also have three sub-units to showcase their respective skills, namely the "hip-hop unit," "performance unit," and "vocal unit."
