The EXO Planet 5: The EXplOration did not disappoint the KPop Kings' 15,000 fans in attendance and set them in elation because of the aforementioned reasons, but also the fact that the word is finally out: a new album is in the works and their world tour is about to take off!

On the third day of their solo concert at KSPO Dome in Seoul, EXO's leader Suho revealed during one of the concert's ments that they will be releasing a new album soon. This was when Chanyeol asked the audience to give lots of love and support to his mini-album What a Life with Sehun, and also to Baekhyun's solo album City Lights.

"I did think that I feel happy when I'm together with the members. Please show lots of love for our unit album and Baekhyun's solo album as well. 'We are One,'" the supergroup's lead rapper said.

Then, Suho responded to him with a revelation that instantly shook the fans and made them holler in excitement.

"EXO will be releasing an album too. If I have to give you guys a hint, it'll definitely be out within the year," he said.

The idol-actor continued to unveil a tidbit of details behind this forthcoming album.

"We'll greet you with the new album this year before the winter season. We plan to work on the next album while embarking on our world tour. That's what we're hoping on. I might've accidentally said too much," he added.

His five fellow members, as well as the crowd, looked at him with amusement for dropping quite a few pieces of information about the album, but he just laughed it off and said, "But that's okay, I'm the leader."

Before performing their last song, Smile On My Face, Suho gave a heartfelt message to the fans who attended the concert. He also expressed his gratitude to the people behind the show's success.

"I'm really thankful to EXO-Ls and the audience for filling up the venue today. Also, the camera directors and staff [worked hard] as well. The security guards who are constantly looking around to see if anyone got injured. Thank you to our manager hyungs, the production, and the dance team. Everyone worked so hard," the supergroup's leader said.

"It would be great if EXO and EXO-Ls would become each other's life companions. EXO-L, I love you. EXO will be on stage forever. Our abs, too, will always be here. It's the last performance for this week. Until next Friday. Let's reminisce the memories that were made together by EXO and EXO-Ls," he added.
