If you're going to form a group, what name would you call it? Actually, you'll think something catchy and something ace that when people hear it, it catches their attention. And of course you'll name it based on what you are made of and who are you. Like in Charities and Special Causes like in aids such as; A-Team or Adios AIDS! Or if it's a club like hunting club, it could be Happy Hunters, One-Shot or Gun Smoke.

But if it's a company names for a barbershop group, names like Barber Chop, Straight Razors or Shear Magic are possible. Some would name them in Latin or Greek to make it look intellectual or to their name's idol or worst to a pet. There are so many ways to name a group, and that's the early problem of ITZY. But thanks God is settled. 

JYP Entertainment's newest girl group, ITZY, is taking the K-Pop world by storm with their latest release "ICY." With their distinct sound and image, ITZY is carving a name for themselves in history. I-T-Z-Y. Itzy is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment, consisting of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. The group debuted on February 12, 2019, with the release of their single album, It's Different.

But would you believe that ITZY was almost named something else? And those names are really something. 

On SBS POWER GM Cultwo Show, the girls revealed the three other names that were considered for their group. The company wanted its name to reflect its "girl crush" image. The choices? Purple Heart, Triggle, and Queendom.

They further explained the name Triggle, saying it stood for the words "trigger" and "giggle." It's unique actually but people began wondering how their company chose these names and Fans were quick to remember that JYP almost called Stray Kids "Trigger." 

Before debut Charyeong said JYP wants to give a named group ITZY is TRIGGLE and in KCON LA when an interview with Stray Kids, Bangchan said JYP wants to name Stray Kids is TRIGGER. JYP want Stray Kids & ITZY like a Twin. Maybe JYP badly like that name. 

MIDZYs were just thankful that the final name ended up being ITZY! 

Maybe there are a lot more differences if their name is 'Purple heart' or 'Triggle' or 'Queendom', they may sound weird but if it became their name, they will still be admired.
