RaNia had another line-up change, and three new members have finally been unveiled!

RaNia is a short term for "Regeneration Idol of Asia" and is formerly called as "Black Pearl Rania." RaNia is initially an eight-member girl group under DR Music, a company founded by American Teddy Riley. The girls made their debut in April 2011 with a single album titled "Teddy Riley, The First Expansion in Asia" with the title track "Dr. Feel Good," which was composed by Teddy Riley himself.

Shortly after debut, member Yijo left the group. Despite losing a member, RaNia continued to promote the group throughout 2011. Until, member Joy went on hiatus sometime in November, and eventually left the group in June 2012.

In the following months, the girl group kept on releasing new songs and albums. They even had their US debut in 2014, in which they collaborated with both Snoop Dogg and 2 Chainz. RaNia is also the first-ever Korean artist to partner with MTV for their reality show "Road to Fame," which shows the girls' preparations for their U.S debut.

Year after year, RaNia loses a member/s, and new ones will be added until it goes down to only Hyeme and Namfon who were left in the group. But there were no official statements released regarding the group's disbandment.

Earlier this year, 2019, Hyeme had an Afreecatv broadcast showing that RaNia has finally returned to their practice room. The group was supposed to come back in August 2018 with the single "Best Of," and yet nothing happened. And so upon seeing the girls after such a long time, fans are curious as to what they have been doing all this time, and they started to ask questions to the members about the group.

Meanwhile, the other K-Pop groups that would be joining RaNia in the Romania K-Pop concert are IMFACT, MustB, and DIP MX. It will be held at Sala Polivalenta in Bucharest, Romania. Girl group CLC is supposed to take part in the event but has been dropped as it may be because of their comeback preparation.
