Im Chang Jung had a recent interview with MBN. He said he sings because he loves music so much. He said that music has something unique to offer that one cannot find in other fields. He said that he is a fan of another singer even as a professional. He likes listening to their song rationally in a different position.

Im Chang Jung mentioned his favorite artists including Boyz II Men, BTS, and BLACKPINK. He said that he listened to medley songs of Boyz II Men songs from 30 years ago. He listens more often to BLACKPINK and BTS music. He thought deeply about how these groups can perform with energy while singing beautiful melodies. The choreography is great and the lyrics have emotions. According to Im Chang Jung, he is a certified BLINK. He is always excited when the group releases a new album.

He said that he is now in the late 40s and it is difficult for him to connect and share something with people. He said that he drifted away from the public. He was upset because he cannot study other people's music just like he did before. He felt like his age is changing him. He still tries to studying new music with various meanings and genres.  

The singer shared that he produced Kim Jae Hwan's solo debut track. He said that his agency told him that Kim Jae Hwan requested a song from him to use for his solo debut. He immediately began composing. He sent Kim Jae Hwan 2 tracks including 'Begin Again.' When he listened to Kim Jae Hwan's recording for the song, he could not believe what he heard. He said that it was unbelievable for a young singer to have such amazing skills.

Kim Jae Hwan appeared on KBS's "Immortal Songs" for the program's Im Chang Jung special held in August. He received many praises from Im Chang Jung and the viewers, after singing "Love Again". He made the audience feel the deepest emotions in the song. The crowd cheered loudly after his performance.

Im Chang Jung said that Kim Jae Hwan can release deep emotions while singing that no other person in the early 20s can do. He said that Kim Jae Hwan's emotions for 'Love Again' are not the same with his emotions. He said that Kim Jae Hwan was successful in making the song's new version. Im Chang Jung was surprised by the different interpretations of the song.
