Lovelyz members Jiae and Sujeong have spoken about the criticism they got following their group's "Sixth Sense" performance in the show "Queendom."

During a recent V Live segment, Jiae and Sujeong shared their opinions with regard to the criticisms they have been receiving. Jiae stated, "Up to now, I don't care much about the harsh comments. However, the remarks about our 'Queendom' performance affected us very much as they were personal assaults of our lives."

Sujeong then said, "It is of no importance what kind of judgment they make, but we experienced a difficult time as they criticized the lives of each Lovelyz member just because of that one performance." Sujeong continued by request the viewers to stop talking about the personal lives of the members and not dishonor the group's achievements due to that one presentation.

Later on, the ladies addressed the audience's suspicions of Lovelyz attempting to show a sexier concept. Sujeong noted, "We didn't even wish to become a sexy girl group."

The two Lovelyz members ended the broadcast by remarking, "We used a concept like this through 'Queendom' since we don't plan on promoting a single with a sexy concept in the future." The idols also stated that they aim to show more new facets of themselves over the program.

Lovelyz is known for its delicate melodies, cheerful personalities, sweet voices, and girl-next-door auras. The group has been slowly but steadily growing their fanbase of Lovelinus thanks to their irresistible charms. The girls had their latest comeback this past May with their sixth extended play "Once Upon a Time" with the title song "Beautiful Days."

Lovelyz has been showing off their unique talent in "Queendom" for the last two rounds. Though the group ranked sixth or last in the first match, Lovelyz came in fourth place for the second battle, which is good news for both the team and the fans. If Lovelyz came in last twice, they would have been eliminated from the show.
