5 EXO Group and Solo Songs That We Want to See Live

slide 2 of 6

With tons of songs that the group has, adding the fact that EXO has two sub-units and three soloists, it is obviously impossible to squeeze in all of them in a three-hour concert. Maybe, in EXO Planet 6, this dream of ours will materialize. But before that, let's list down 5 of EXO's songs, as well as solo tracks that we're really itching to see being performed live.

1. "Going Crazy" (The War)

Actually, "Going Crazy" was part of the "EXO Planet 4: The ElyXiOn" lineup but was performed in selected countries only. It kind of made us felt robbed because it is arguably, if not the best, one of EXO's best B-sides. Those who didn't get the chance to witness it personally now just resort to watching the fan cam versions on YouTube. In case you haven't seen it, we'd like to spill: from vocals to powerful choreography (and Kai's dripping sweat), the performance is glorious all in all.

2. "Stay Up" (Baekhyun, City Lights)

Baekhyun, EXO's main vocalist and genius idol (as what his fans call him because of his versatility), finally released his much-awaited solo album "City Lights" in July this year. The six-track album is R&B-filled, and the songs' coquettish vibe really suited Baekhyun's sultry vocals. We were lucky enough to see Baekhyun perform the title track "UN Village" at "The EXplOration," but we can't help but visualize him performing "Stay Up" as well. Also, you might want to brace yourself if you haven't seen the English translation of the track, especially if you see Baekhyun as a doe-eyed mochi you'd love to the baby.

3. "Borderline" (EXO-SC, What a Life)

EXO-SC consisted of EXO's main rappers Sehun and Chanyeol, which is the latest sub-unit of the supergroup launched this year. In the same month as Baekhyun's solo debut, EXO-SC released their first-ever - and self-composed - album "What a Life." Two out of the six tracks are included in the lineup of "The EXplOration," namely the titular song and "Closer to You." However, if in case you're on "Stan Twitter," you'd know that many SeChan enthusiasts pick "Borderline" as their favorite. Would you actually refuse to hear Sehun and Chanyeol professing their love for you live?

4. Black Pearl (XOXO)

"Black Pearl" was likely last performed live at Christmas Wonderland concert in 2013. You might want to prepare your heart though if you're planning to see them live and fan cam versions on YouTube, especially if you were an "EXOTIC." Anyway, that doesn't remove the fact that "Black Pearl" is one of EXO's most treasured classics. As part of the group's debut album, EXO really did flex their amazing vocals in there as if they weren't rookies back then and hopeful to make it big. Even the rappers Sehun, Chanyeol, and the former members, despite being new to the industry, proved their superiority. Thus, we need a comeback of "Black Pearl" on stage!

5. "Good Night" (Chen, Dear, My Dear)

Chen's powerful voice is not an option to be heard live. May he be performing solo or with his group, doing an intense choreography, Chen's vocals just naturally shine. The EXO's main vocalist released his album comeback "Dear, my Dear" on October 1st, and has performed live the title track "Shall We" a few times as well. While the whole album is pure bliss, the B-side "Good Night" is that one dreamy track you want to see being performed live. Its lyrics aim to heal you as it puts you to peaceful slumber or just simply let go of all your worries away. After all, we all have that baggage within us that we want to just vanish.
