An entertainment company is currently suspected of doing something illegal. To be more specific, the company "A" is claimed to have made fraud cards which will be used for the voting process. It is said that the label ordered not only the employees but also the trainees to cast their votes for the competitors that come from their agency.

In the midst of doing inspections about the case, a witness came out and attested that entertainment agency "A" really did rig the votes during the said season of "Produce 101" through making use of fake I.D's that exceed 100,000. But in spite of having a witness, representatives from "A" denied the accusations.

Because of this one incident, Seoul police decided to conduct investigations into vote-rigging claims against every season of Mnet's well-known 'Produce' shows and another reality program called "Idol School." In connection to this, the police officers are currently investigating the manipulation claims and vote-rigging against "Produce x 101." In fact, at the end of September, they have found out that the results of the program were indeed arranged fraudulently.

The police further stated that they had discovered circumstantial evidence that proves that the final rankings of a few of the members who were able to be part of the final lineup of new boy group project X1 and those who were eliminated from the show were swapped. They believe that 2 or 3 members of X1 have been added into the group by means of the vote manipulation.

Upon their discovery, police raided three companies, particularly Starship Entertainment, Woollim Entertainment, and MBK Entertainment. In case the alleged vote manipulation is proven to be true, Mnet will be fined from 10 to 30 million won, based on the Enforcement Decree of the Broadcast Act.

Until now, cops are still conducting in-depth investigations to unveil the truth behind the allegations.
