A representative from the police agency gave additional information concerning the ongoing vote-manipulation case and revealed, "since we were granted four search and seizure warrants and have obtained the cellphones of the show's staff members, we have acquired data which are now being analyzed. The objective of this investigation is to know whether the votes were rigged or not, and this is what the fans and producers want to find out. But since there were plenty of data to look in to, it took us a long time to connect all of the materials to get a clear picture, but we are planning to end the probe soon and provide the details of the outcome."

Then another report about the scandal arose through MBC's New Desk on the same day which mentioned that "Produce X 101" has manipulated the votes of three of the top eleven trainees who have recently debuted as the boy group X1.

Even though the article didn't specify who the three boys were, they previously unveiled the three companies which are believed to be part of the vote-rigging. These entertainment agencies are Starship Entertainment, MBK Entertainment, and Woollim Entertainment. It is said that the police have conducted search and seizure operations in the said labels in relation to their proceeding investigation with the three X1 members being under these companies.

Since the revelation of these agencies, fans already have an idea as to which X1 member they are referring to but not sure who the exact three boys are since some of them come from the same company. X1 members Song Hyeong Jun and Kang Min Hee are signed under Starship Entertainment, Lee Han Gyul and Nam Do Hyun are under MBK Entertainment, and Cha Jun Ho is from Woollim Entertainment. At least three of the said members are believed to have final votes that were manipulated by the program to get high scores.

This means that the suspected boys are supposedly not a part of the recently debuted male troupe and are actually those who didn't make it to the final lineup. But this doesn't stop the X1 fans from worrying as the idols are currently getting malicious and harsh comments from netizens. The scandal has caused them emotional grievances and mental breakdowns.
