BTS member Jungkook was involved in a traffic accident on the afternoon of November 4 this year. Big Hit Entertainment, which handles BTS, gave an official statement regarding the accident.

"We are aware of the involvement of BTS member Jungkook in the traffic accident. As of the moment, we cannot provide all the details because the police have not closed the matter yet. All we can say is that Jungkook was driving his vehicle and colluded with another car. Both the victims and Jungkook sustained no injuries. 

Jungkook immediately conceded that he violated the Road Traffic Law. He then proceeded with on-site processing and cooperated with the police in accordance to due process, and has agreed to settle with the victim. In behalf of BTS member Jungkook, we would like to apologize to the victims and for any inconvenience this may have caused the group's fans."
