Baek Yerin introduced Blue Vinyl on her social media sites on the 6th of November saying, "Hello! It's been a long time. It's my independent label account!"

Last September, Baek Ye-rin already announced her plan of starting an independent label with the help of her friends. She also informed everyone that after her contract ends with JYP Entertainment, she will not be renewing it.

Baek Ye-rin made her debut when she was only 15 years old in 2012. Since her debut, she had received great amounts of love and support from her fans and the public. In the first half of this year, she wrote a song entitled "It's probably not our fault," which topped music charts.
