On November 7, it has been reported that 2NE1 member Lee Chae-rin or more commonly known as CL didn't renew her contract with YG Entertainment.

Lee Chae-rin started her career as a member of the famous Korean girl group 2NE1 together with Sandara Park (Dara), Park Bom (Bom), and Gong Min-ji (Minzy). The group became an instant hit not just in Asia but internationally. They have released tons of chart-topping music before they decided to disband in 2016. 

After the group has separated, CL became a solo artist under YG Entertainment. She had also signed with another international label under Universal Music.
