BIGBANG members Daesung and Taeyang held a program at 8:00 am today on the Army Ground Operations Command located in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Both members have served in the 5th Artillery Brigade of the Gangwon-do Cheorwon Army and the 27th Division of the Hwacheon-gun Army in Gangwon-do, respectively.

Thousands of fans from home and abroad gathered had gathered since dawn to wait for idols' discharge. Fans even bought placards and banners saying "We'll always be here! Welcome back Daeyung and Taeyang!"

Daesung said, "I went through a lot, both physically and emotionally, while serving in the military. I learned new things but most importantly I learned to understand other people's feelings and situations."

"I just want to express the love and gratitude I have for all the military executives and our comrades who have and are working hard to protect the country," Taeyang added.

When asked about their future plans, Daesung answered: "We will continue to work hard and hopefully we can release a new project soon."
