Amber has returned with a new song that gives a character-building message for those who are going through a breakup. The female singer released the music video for her new track titled "X Part 2," also called "Other People."

The single is described as a medium tempo dance track, and in the music video, Amber shows the best way on how to get over an ex - through replacing that person with other better people.

The music video begins with Amber's past lover, acted by actor Sam Li, who is wrapped in a chair with a duct tape placed over his mouth. That being the case, he couldn't do anything but listen to Amber's words and look at her as she moves on by hanging out with her friends and having a good time, and sooner or later, finding a new boyfriend.

One of the shots in the MV that shocked the viewers is when Amber had a kissing scene with Michael Bow, who played as her new lover. This part received excellent feedback from the public and had the fans cheering on for the solo artist. In fact, two of Amber's friends, particularly Ailee and Eric Nam shared their funny reactions toward the kiss Amber had with Michael.

The song is rumored to have been written based on Amber's own break-up. On Instagram, the songstress even shared her own moving-on process. She stated that after the breakup, she had plenty of mistakes and did many stupid things. Amber also expressed her gratitude to her friends, who helped her overcome those tough times. The singer then noted, "I am slowly starting to realize that it is better to replace the negativity with positivity." Cuddles, creating music, visiting escape rooms, exercising, watching anime, and spending time with boba are the things Amber mentioned she would do to forget about all the bad vibes.

This comeback serves as Amber's first release after her departure from SM Entertainment and joining a new label, Steel Wool Entertainment. It is also her first after more than a year since her last single album in September 2018, which is the "White Noise + Lost At Sea" that includes two tracks of the same names. As of November 10, the MV already reached more than 1.5 million views.
