A month after Sulli's passing, SBS' "Unanswered Questions" revealed their plans to air an episode by next week tackling the issues regarding the late star's death.

The preview hinted interviews conducted with unnamed individuals from the entertainment realm, which includes a man who claims to be Sulli's former beau and an anonymous person alleged to be one of the f(x) alumna's "hate commenters."

The person from the entertainment scene stated, "There were a lot of rumors that were hard to say out loud. They were dirty rumors that would ruin the image of someone."

The alleged former boyfriend in a separate clip addressed the late celebrity with, "I can never forget you either."

However, the anonymous alleged hater of Sulli stated, "It's not cursing, is it? It's not like I told her to die. I don't care if she dies or not."

Despite the intentions, the preview drew mixed reactions among netizens, with some saying that it's downright disrespectful to cover such issues just a month after the tragedy. Some even argued that these types of investigations may ignite "more rumors to spread." Those who agree, on the other hand, said that it's fine if the uncovering of the truth is alright with Sulli's family.

Sulli passed on October 14, 2019. In light of her passing, several artists and groups, especially those who are from SM Entertainment, put their activities and promotions on hold. Her former bandmates Amber and Victoria flew from the U.S. and China, respectively, to Seoul to pay their respects, while Luna reportedly did not participate in her supposed musical stint. There were also reports that claimed Krystal has been assisting in her wake.

Further, the late singer's death brought to light the issue of artists' mental health. Many fans also put the blame on the agencies that do not take care of their artists' well-being. In a social media post, Shinhwa member Kim Dong-wan wrote a lengthy about a factor that could have caused the singer-actress' tragedy.

"Celebrities are working under extreme pressure and the level of stress they face is increasing as competition becomes heavier. Young K-pop idols particularly do not eat or sleep properly because of their tight schedules, yet they are asked to hide their emotions and smile and show positive attitudes for their fans in public. They have to be sexy but must not have sex, and be tough but must not fight for anything," he said.
