BLACKPINK Won Every Category They Were Nominated In At E!’s People’s Choice Awards 2019
The 4-member female Korean idol group, BLACKPINK, won every category they were nominated in at the E!'s People Choice Awards 2019 last November 10. The group has been nominated for Group of 2019, Music Video of 2019, and Concert Tour of 2019. They won all three defeating their fellow Korean idol group nominee, BTS.
For Group of 2019, the female quartet was the only female group nominated. They won against the Jonas Brothers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Imagine Dragons, Panic! At The Disco, The Chainsmokers, and BTS.
Under the Music Video of 2019 category, BLACKPINK's entry was their "Kill This Love" MV which won against Ariana Grande's "7 Rings", Taylor Swift feat. Brendan Urie's "ME!", Billi Eilish's "Bad Guy", Daddy Yankee & Snow's "Con Calma", Shawn Mendes & Camilla Cabello's "Senorita", Sam Smith & Normani's "Dancing w/ a Stranger", and BTS feat. Halsey's "Boy with Luv."
Lastly, for the Concert Tour of 2019 award, their "BLACKPINK 2019 World Tour" won. Nominees competing for this category are Ariana Grande, BTS, Cher, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, and P!nk.
